Not many (non-filipino) people I know like Spam. Perhaps I need to move to Hawaii? Nathan pointed me to this article. I grew up eating Spam with scrambled eggs and white rice for breakfast. Also, Spam with fried rice is yummy too. Mmmmm, I wonder if they sell Spam at Costco… that would be a TON of Spam… might last me a whole week! 🙂 I haven’t had Spam since before I got married. *sigh*
One reply on “Spam Mcmuffin, Please!”
Hello cousin.
Filipinos are crazy about spam. There’s even a fast food restaurant called “Spam Jam” which has nothing but SPAM on the menu! (Spam sandwiches and all that.) 😉 I am neutral when it comes to Spam. To me it tastes like any other canned meatloaf/lunchoen meat. Haha. I believe that most people who hate it are the ones who eat it cold and fresh from the can, which is a big NO No. One must always reheat it first! 😀
Anyway, I’m sorry that I’m only able to reply to your messages now. I have been extremely busy the past few weeks, loaded with school works and all. But my 3 week school break had started the other day so it’s getting better. I’ll probably finally update my blog soon too.
I’m glad that you enjoyed my photos on Flickr. I will be posting some more, especially the ones with our cousins on it. Your dad was awesome. If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have been able to travel around New York, Washington and Virginia.
Yep, I’ll be going back to the States around April/May 2008. I’m having a few classes at Oklahoma City University and I intend to either go to the states earlier or stay later (for a couple of weeks) so that I can travel. Since Oklahoma is close to Kevin and you, I would love to visit you guys. I also saw your pictures of Albuquerque, and the Sandia mountains and it looks gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the brethtaking sunsets. 🙂
I’ll let you know when I’ve posted the rest of the US pictures!
Tell Nathan and the adorable Sean I said hello. Take care. 🙂
