We got a bunch more rain this evening. It prevented us from going to church tonight. We left the house, but turned around pretty quickly when the roads were flooding and we could barely see through the windshield. So we came home and stood on our back porch and watched the water flood around it. Unfortunately, our backyard slopes toward the house, so it all pools up right at the back patio. If this rain keeps up, we may have to do something about that. Thankfully though, it looks like we’d have to get more than 6 inches of rain all building up in the backyard for it to reach into our house. I doubt that would happen… and I hope it never does.
